1. Transparency about the nature of the service
CoVœur is a virtual support tool based on artificial intelligence. We commit to being transparent about this nature at every interaction.
CoVœur is not a psychologist, a couples therapist, or a physician. The analyses produced are indicative and do not constitute a clinical diagnosis or therapeutic treatment. We clearly remind you of this in our reports and in our Terms of Use.
2. Grounded in the science of relationships
CoVœur is designed with and supervised by relationship professionals — clinical psychologists, couples therapists, certified relationship coaches. The analytical frameworks used (attachment theory, NVC, CBT, love languages) are based on models recognized by the scientific community.
This professional supervision guarantees quality and care in the analyses we produce.
3. Respect for informed consent
Using CoVœur is based on free and informed consent. You choose what you share, when you share it, and you can stop the process at any time.
WhatsApp conversation analysis requires explicit double consent from both partners. No analysis is performed without the prior, documented agreement of both parties concerned.
4. Confidentiality and protection of sensitive data
We handle your relationship data with the utmost discretion. This data — particularly sensitive as it relates to your intimate life — is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
WhatsApp conversations submitted for analysis are anonymized before processing and are not retained after the analysis. Only the elements necessary to provide the Service are processed.
5. Neutrality and non-judgment
CoVœur adopts a stance of compassionate neutrality. Our analyses do not pass moral judgment on your life choices, your romantic or emotional orientation, the shape of your relationship, or your personal values.
We respect the diversity of relationship models and commit not to impose any standard of what a “good relationship” should be.
6. Responsible AI
CoVœur is committed to the responsible use of artificial intelligence:
- The AI models we use (Azure OpenAI, Microsoft — hosted within the European Union) are guided by precise instructions to ensure care, accuracy, and humility
- Analyses are regularly reviewed and audited by relationship professionals
- We don’t claim absolute objectivity: results depend on the information provided
- We explicitly state that AI can be wrong and encourage you to consult a professional for any need for deeper support
7. No false promises or dramatization
CoVœur pledges not to promise guaranteed romantic outcomes, and not to dramatize situations to create dependence on the service.
Our analyses aim to provide practical insights and action steps, fostering empowerment and autonomy. We don’t create relational anxiety where it doesn’t exist, and we don’t fuel conflict.
8. Referral to professionals
CoVœur recognizes the limits of its support. In some situations, follow-up with a mental health professional is essential. We commit to:
- Clearly flag situations that fall outside the scope of the Service (severe distress, domestic violence, psychological crisis)
- Actively encourage seeking professional help when analyses indicate it
- Never substitute for necessary therapeutic care
CoVœur is not a substitute for therapy — it’s a complement.
9. Accessibility and inclusion
CoVœur aims to be accessible to as many people as possible. We commit to using clear, inclusive language, respecting the diversity of family and relationship configurations, and avoiding any gender, cultural, or social bias in our analyses.
10. Continuous improvement
CoVœur is committed to continuous improvement. Your feedback is invaluable for refining our analyses and supporting you better. Every report can be followed by your feedback, which we use to improve the quality of the Service.
11. Ethics contact
If you believe CoVœur has fallen short of any of these commitments, we want to know. Contact us via our contact form. We commit to addressing any ethics-related complaint seriously and as quickly as possible.
